I don't have a whole bunch of time to trade this week so I am concentrating on the weekly signals to enter and hold a while. Here is my short list:

Its Over

I have not written in the blog for a week cause (as my wife likes to say) I have been in a real pissy mood. Last friday I owned MI and then on a daily keybar I bought JRCC when it triggered. I kid you not....5 minutes after I bought JRCC the news came out about Goldman sending both stocks into a spiral downwards that didn't seem to ever want to end. Between the 2 stocks after fridays close I was down 1300 bucks. Hoping for a plane flying over the white house event, I held them both into this week and on tuesday I got rid of MI and actually made 120 bucks. Today I sold JRCC and made 265. What looked real shitty in the beginning turned out ok but the stress level was high and I did not initiate any new trades because I wanted to protect capital as much as possible.

Turns out I would have made out very well on my picks this week. AXL, CENX, BID, OLN, PPDI, AGP did well and some of the weekly picks from 2 weeks ago have done really well....SNDK up 8 bucks a share just to name the best one. I am very thankful that I got out of the mess and look forward to trading some weekly fibwits starting monday. As for the rest of the day......why I think I hear a beer calling my name!!!

Friday April 16th

Did a trade in WHR yesterday. Everything was going well until a scary pullback got me spooked. I ended up selling for a 65 dollar profit and later price went to my 220 dollar target. I guess I should have set a limit order to get out and walked away from my computer. MI lost ground yesterday too and if I can get a push outa the deal I think I may call it a night for that one. I found 3 from the scan:

Thursday April 15th

I guess the big news of yesterday morning was the gap up in TLAB. Soon after the open I sold her making 410 bucks. Also KEY ( yesterdays gap down) came back from a loss of one point of 450 bucks to selling it for 70 dollars in profit. It was nice to get outa that thing. MI did trade higher on the day and I am still holding it. Here is the list from the new scan but I will not trade until after all the reports are done at 8 a.m. my time.

Wednesday April 14th

It was not a nice day for trading yesterday as KEY was downgraded by UBS and we had a gap down in that one and it traded lower all day. MI was marginally lower and TLAB managed to hold above 8 bucks on the day. Some very high impact reports out this morning and most of them were positive so a higher open is expected here. Hopefully a better day than yesterday. I found 3 I like from the daily scan:

Tuesday April 13th

Bought 2 stocks yesterday.....MI and TLAB and both closed just a touch below my entry. KEY from the other day had a wishy-washy day and closed down 1 cent. Today it won't have a similar day cause in the premarket its trading down 30 cents. Lucky me. The daily trend is up and strong so if I gotta hold for a while I will. I found a couple from last nights scan:

Monday April 12th

I sold SOLF right after the open. It gapped up a little bit and looked like it was having trouble so I bailed at 8.98....and good thing I did as it closed below my entry. We got filled in KEY as well and it closed down 6 pennies from my entry. See if we can grab some early on that one as well. Here are the new ones from the scan:

Friday April 9th

Finally sold LUV after a week of chop. It popped up in the first candle and I sold her one cent from the high of the day. SOLF had a very weak open but rallied pretty much all day yesterday so maybe I will take profit on that one before the weekend....see how she opens. I found 5 from the scan and it looks like RIG is gonna gap me. Maybe I will do the same thing in RIG that I did in SOLF...jump in with less shares.

For the last couple of days I have been without our AIQ scanner. Something on their end giving troubles. Anyhow we are back in action today. The last few scans I have seen solar power companies in the scan. I have been interested but have not found the signal as of yet. Maybe today with SOLF as it is up large in the premarket. Still holding onto LUV.

The April Fool

JDSU had a nice pop at the open yesterday and I bailed taking 210 bucks for my efforts. I look in the premarket this morning and its up 50 cents from where I sold it. Dang! LUV triggered and was bought as well yesterday. I found 4 from the scan that I liked:
